FALL SEASON IS AROUND THE CORNER,

LETS START IT OFF RIGHT WITH SOME ROLLER SKATING!

SEPTEMBER 28th (7-10PM)

Skate Open Spaces is hosting a public skate night at SportsHouse in Redwood City. We will turn the four volleyball courts into a roller rink for the night. All ages, all abilities, more than welcome.

Admission:

General Admission

  • $18 until Friday, August 23rd at 11:30 pm (includes rentals and lessons)

  • $23 on day of event (includes rentals and lessons)

Youth (12 and under)

  • $15 until Friday, August 23rd at 11:30 pm (includes rentals and lessons)

  • $20 on day of event (includes rentals and lessons)

Skates:

Rental skates available

  • Sizes from 10 little kids to 13 adult (all rentals are roller skates, no blades/inlines for rent--sorry!).

  • Though we can't guarantee the sizes, we will do our very best to make sure everyone skates.

  • We also have all the protective gear available: wrist guards, elbow pads, knee pads, and helmets.

Bring your own skates

  • We love to see your skate setups!

  • Roller blades/inlines welcome.

Waiver

  • We need a signed waiver for all participants--please sign waiver here! (WAIVER) or find it on our website: http://skateopenspaces.com

  • Under 18 MUST have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian W

  • If you drop off a minor and haven't done the waiver here, please plan to sign in person at the event.

Skate Lessons

  • Never skated? Been awhile? No problem. We will give 2 beginner lessons: #1 from 7:15-7:45, #2 from 7:45-8:15 to help you get rolling!

  • Want to up your game? We have a beginner dance skate lesson (center rink) from 8:15-8:45.

  • Lessons are given by Mike Williams and are included in price of admission :)

Food and Drinks

  • Kicks Grill will be open for food and drinks during the skate session.

Health and Safety

  • We will follow all state and local Covid-19 guidelines in place at the time of the event.

  • By participating in this event, you assume all risks and responsibilities and will not hold Skate Open Spaces liable for any illnesses or injuries obtained during the event.

  • We will not tolerate any bigoted or reckless behavior. Anyone engaging in such behavior will be escorted off the premises.

Table Rentals

  • Want to celebrate during skate night? Rent a table for $100 an hour. (seats 16-20 people)

  • Must pre-order food from Kick’s Sports Bar & Grill 48 hours in advance.

  • May bring in dessert related item if you pre-order food

  • Please bring everything to serve dessert. Cake plates, forks, serving knife. etc…
