SportsHouse, the home for indoor sports on the Peninsula, is looking for Customer Service / Front Desk staff.  Looking for friendly, outgoing person able to work in a fast paced, sports related environment.  Must be great at multi-tasking, can work well in a team environment and is very self driven.  In person customer service & phone communication is a must.  Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus.  Looking to fill shifts weekends and weeknights, with a flexible schedule preferred. Part-time Only.


Party Coach/Host

We have openings for enthusiastic energetic coaches who love all types of games in sports. Here at SportsHouse, we host birthday parties and staff the party from start to finish. The ideal coach has experience in coaching kids and being able to have fun and motivate them in the game. Must have a deep knowledge of games like dodgeball, soccer, flag football, capture the flag, and ultimate frisbee to name a few. You must love to work with kids, engage with parents and think on your feet to insure they the BEST PARTY ever! Experience is a plus. Part-time only.


Party Coordinator *NEW

We have a rare opening for someone to manage our parties and events from start to finish. If you take pride in hosting the perfect event from start to finish, love leading with people from party coaches to customers, we want to talk to you! We are seeking a dynamic and organized manager to join our team. The Party Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all aspects of parties hosted at our venue, including staff scheduling, hiring, training, overseeing event execution, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients. This is a part time job during non-peak our non-peak season (summer) and a full time job during our peak season (school year). Ability to work nights and weekends is required.   • Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Party Coordinator to join our team. The Party Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all aspects of parties hosted at our venue, including staff scheduling, hiring, training, overseeing event execution, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both staff and clients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Party Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule all parties hosted at the venue, ensuring smooth execution and accurate/.timely communication between clients and catering partner.

    • Staff Scheduling and Oversight: Schedule staff for parties, ensuring appropriate coverage and adherence to company standards. Provide oversight and guidance to staff during events.

    • Hiring and Training: Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members. Conduct training sessions to ensure all staff are well-prepared for their roles.

    • Staff Oversight: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary to uphold service excellence.

    • Event Execution: Plan and oversee the execution of parties and special events to ensure they meet quality standards and exceed client expectations.

    • Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with parents and clients throughout the party planning process, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.

    • Occasional Party Hosting: Host parties as needed, demonstrating enthusiasm and engaging with guests to enhance their experience.

    • Part Time Front Desk Host: Manage reception desk responsibilities as assigned

    • Administrative Tasks: Utilize Google Suites applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack,  Microsoft Office, various SAAS subscriptions to manage schedules, maintain records, and facilitate communication within the team.

    Requirements:

    • Education- College degree preferred but not required

    • Proven experience in event coordination or a similar role, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment setting.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.

    • Proficiency in Google Suites applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, and Microsoft Office.

    • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    • CPR and first aid certification (preferred).
